Retrophoto week - I will post a set of photos taken with Nikon FE2, an old film SLR. This one is the first of the set.
Half of the photos were taken and developed by me in 1983, when I was 11 years old and learning to shoot and develop film+photos in the dark room.
Rest of the photos were taken in November 2013. It was really nice to shoot film for a change - each exposure has to be carefully considered and the Nikon FE2 is superbly tool-like camera.
I am currently shooting with my old film camera, and thus have no new photos to post here.

I will move back to digital as soon as I get this retro-thing out of my system!
My aim is to show authentic, but novel view points to everyday situations. I don’t stage or fake the shooting situations. I do not do photoshopping - just cropping and correction of exposure, white-balance and enhancing colors (I like strong colors). I wan’t to keep my gear small in size (Panasonic G3 with mainly prime lenses), so I can carry the camera and lenses with me, and shoot when I have time between my daily tasks. Topic wise I often combine my love of photography with my love of the sea and sailing.
